Metascapes 1

This series is about the mystery and beauty of the Icelandic landscape. In a way, it is a place that changes the perception and common idea of landscape. It is about primordal forces. It is veiled by the unknown where unseeable essence is only intuitively suggested. It is about contrasts: rough and gentle; solid and soft; coloured in black and pastel. In this landscape, I had to share my gaze and my search for solitude and silence with the harsh sunshine, strong winds and suden rains. It is landscape with a unique character. It is a metascape as well.

Archival quality, limited edition prints of my photographs printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta 325g paper are available in different sizes (from 20x30cm up to 67×100 cm).
